Garfield is from the great Grace family at YoungDale which has produced Hogan and Monarch plus many others and females. His 3rd Granny GRace 89S was top young cow in the YoungDale herd and her first 4 calves averaged $20,000 each. In this pedigree there are 2 crosses of New Trend 315, 2 crosses of Dameron Linedrive who was Grand champion at Denver for 2 years, 2 crosses of the great MVF Tibbie 15T.
Papa's 5 progeny born here in 2003 are highly rated in the herd, with his 3 daughters holding top spots and his other son follows these 3. Papa is a stong stylish bull with thick hindquarters carried on good legs with faultless locomotion .
A son - Panmare is to be Junior Stock Bull in 2006. Garfield was used extensively throuhout the herd in 2005 and leaves us to start a new herd with 10 females
