 The Modern Aberdeen Angus female makes the ideal cow. Nightingale females are especially bred with tight udders and small teats which reduces suckling ailments.

Nightingale bulls have been used extensively in pedigree, dairy and suckler herds throughout the UK and also abroad, 8 out of 10 customers return to buy more bulls (some up to six times in succession). Nightingale run seventy cows and the majority of female sales are private - only three times in twenty five years have small drafts of females been sold at auction.
